WDSS swimmer Branton is golden at OFSAA

TORONTO – Shona Branton of Wallaceburg won a gold medal at the OFSAA swimming championship Tuesday.

Branton won the open girls’ 100-metre breaststroke in 1:10.08.

Alexa Arbour of Pain Court was fifth in the senior girls’ 50 freestyle in 28.87 seconds.

Emily Tapp of Wallaceburg was sixth in the senior girls’ 200 freestyle in 2:26.42.

The two-day meet wraps up Wednesday.
